Brisbane Roar captain Craig Moore says he would like to join either Melbourne Victory or Adelaide United on loan leading into next year's World Cup.
The Socceroos defender is entertaining the idea of joining either club, who will be involved in the Asian Champions League next season, so he can keep his fitness and sharpness up prior to South Africa.
"I'm putting it out there," Moore said.
"It's impossible for me not to go somewhere if I want to be selected for the World Cup and my first choice is Australia.
"I've talked with Pim (Verbeek) about playing in the Asian Champions League and he's not against it. There is no indication that he wants me to take another path, so that's where my mind is at right now.
"That would keep me in good condition going into South Africa, and it's going to be the case with the other home-based Socceroos, the likes of Jason Culina, Chris Coyne, Mile Sterjovski and Jacob Burns.
"They all know they'll have to find a loan solution to fill in the gap. It's a problem we all face."
