Brisbane Roar midfielder Matt McKay has urged fans of the club to get along to Suncorp Stadium tomorrow night.
The Roar face new A-League franchise Gold Coast United in their season opener and McKay wants the fans to help them over the line.
"With the personalities involved and obviously our former coach (Bleiberg) being there, it's going to be interesting," McKay said.
"Hopefully our supporters will pack the stadium, generate a fantastic Suncorp atmosphere and see us win.
"This first game is huge. It is an historic occasion and we want to come out on top for sure.
"I think it is great for football in Queensland. Football in this state is massive and I think it's great that the first A-League expansion has seen two Queensland teams come into the competition. Both Gold Coast and North Queensland have recruited well."
