Exciting Brisbane Roar winger Henrique made a brilliant return to the pitch following a knee injury. The Brazilian was playing his first competitive match back with the Roar youth squad as they swept to a 4-2 win over the Australian Institute of Sport at Ballymore Stadium yesterday.
Henrique was sublime on the ball, creating many chances for his teammates and having many of his own before getting himself on the scoresheet in the 31st minute when he slide the ball past AIS goalkeeper Aaron Lennox.
The little speedster then supplied the cross for Tim Smits ten minutes later which put the Roar 3-1 up in a brilliant individual performance which bodes well for a return to the first team.
The Roar seniors take on Melbourne Victory at Suncorp Stadium this Saturday night.
