Brighton winger Leandro Trossard is backing Percy Tau for success with Club Brugge.

Trossard arrived this summer from Genk.

South Africa forward has joined Club Brugge for a season on-loan and Trossard told The Argus: “I think it's a good move.

“In the Belgian League you see a lot of young players develop and move into the bigger leagues.

“I think it is a good step for him to show himself off.

“If he does good there, he can maybe make the step to the Premier League.

“The league is a little similar (to here). It is also physical.

“Brugge are a team who want to play football.

“They want to win the title every year so it will be good for him."
