Brighton are keeping a close eye on Motherwell's Max Johnston with a view to a summer move.

The Under-21s star has been impressive in the Scottish Premiership.

Per The Sun, the Albion sent out a scout to watch the Scottish youngster playing against Hearts on Sunday.

The 19-year-old full-back is out of contract in the summer, while he is eager to talk to other clubs.

The youngster was on loan at Cove Rangers for the first part of this campaign.

He has since been brought back, and has shown his quality with Motherwell's first team.
