Brighton striker Danny Welbeck admits their clash with Newcastle United is a six-pointer.
The England international signed for the Seagulls after playing for Watford last season and is bidding to avoid a second successive relegation.
However, he is hoping to use his experience of last term's unsuccessful battle against the drop.
Victory for Brighton would put them five points clear of Newcastle with nine games to go in the top-flight.
Welbeck said: "We are where we are in the table and we're there for a reason.
"It doesn't matter if we feel unlucky to be there.
"The pressure is on us every single game now, but we need to relish the pressure, relish the challenge and the win against Southampton really boosts confidence in the team.
“We're all looking forward to the rest of the season, obviously the Newcastle game is at the forefront of our minds but we'll be ready after a good week of training."
