Brighton are targeting Porto left-back Zaidu in case they sell defender Marc Cucurella.

The Spanish flyer is a key target for Manchester City this summer.

The Citizens are eager to add to their capture of Erling Haaland, with Cucurella the ideal left-sided full-back for manager Pep Guardiola.

According to the Daily Star, Crystal Palace are also in for 25-year-old Zaidu, who is represented by Jorge Mendes.

Porto want at least £20 million for the 25-year-old Nigerian, which should not be an issue as Brighton will likely sell Cucurella for double that fee.
