Brighton defender Alexis Mac Allister has paid tribute to Argentinos Juniors.

Mac Allister, 20, came through the youth set-up at Argentinos.

He was loaned straight back to them after Albion bought him in the January transfer window.

Mac Allister wrote on Instagram: "To all the fans, partners, colleagues and leaders of Argentinos Juniors. Today I have to finish this first stage in the club that formed me, and I want to thank all of them for the support and affection they gave me.

"Yes, I said the first stage because I am sure that someday I will return, along with my brothers, to continue enjoying this great club that saw us born."
