Brighton midfielder Billy Gilmour admits team spirit is sky high after victory over Newcastle.
Evan Ferguson scored a treble as Brighton won 3-1, with Callum Wilson scoring a late consolation for Newcastle.
Gilmour said, "I'm really happy from a personal point but last week we weren't good enough and we got beaten, we've come out here today ready and got the three points.
"It's a very competitive changing room, we all want to play every game. We've got a lot of completions to come. When you're in the team, you've got to make sure that's your jersey and give it your all.
On manager Roberto De Zerbi, he added: "He's really tough, he wants everything to be perfect which is great for us because we want to learn and he's a great manager. For me it's been amazing to work with him and great to learn from him every day. He is very strict on how we play and I'm sure when everyone watches Brighton, everyone is excited.
"I'm enjoying my football. To play every game so far has been really good. Gaining confidence and getting minutes in the legs. Getting on the ball as much as I did today has been good."
