Brighton & Hove Albion boss Gus Poyet has welcomed talk linking him with the Chelsea job.
The Uruguayan, who spent four years as a player with the Blues in the late 1990s and early 2000s, is in the market to become the next Stamford Bridge manager and he admits it is a job that interests him greatly.
"I want to go to the highest level and if it's the Premier League and it's Chelsea, fantastic," said Poyet, who is being tipped by some to succeed interim boss Rafael Benitez.
"That's my aim. Everybody knows. I don't hide it.
"I like the speculation because it means we are doing something right. But it doesn't change my life at the moment."
