Brighton boss Graham Potter can see Danny Welbeck playing alongside Neal Maupay in their attack.
The former England striker played until the closing stages of their 0-0 draw with Burnley.
Head coach Potter said: “I was really pleased with Danny.
“He got into those positions (for his two chances) really well.
“I thought he affected their back line well, ran in behind. He had some other moments as well around the box and he has only been with us a few days in terms of training days.
“He has not played that much football recently so he will get better and better."
Potter believes Welbeck and Maupay could start again in the same line-up.
He said: “They are both intelligent, both play for the team, have different attributes so I think they will probably balance well."
