Brighton boss Potter delighted with recent Welbeck form

Brighton boss Graham Potter has praised veteran striker Danny Welbeck.

The former Manchester United and Arsenal man has been impressive in recent games, scoring a goal and two assists against Southampton and Wolves.

As the Albion prepare to take on United on Saturday, Potter will be hoping Welbeck can add to his three goals in eight games against the Red Devils since he left the club in 2014.

On Welbeck, Potter told reporters: "He is in a good place, playing really well.

"I would say he is playing as well as he has played since he's been with us. We are delighted for him and us."
