Brighton boss De Zerbi: I've told Bloom to deal in Lallana

Brighton boss Roberto de Zerbi says he's urged the club to hand Adam Lallana a new deal.

The veteran's season is over due to injury,

And De Zerbi declared: "It could be that his season is over. It is bad news for us because he is one of the most important players. We can win without Adam, but he is important for us.

"I want Lallana with me, of course, 100 percent. I have already spoken to Tony (Bloom, the owner) and I told him to extend his contract.

"Adam not only helps me and the coaches but also the young players. He is important on and off the pitch."
