Brighton boss Roberto de Zerbi admits he's been quickly won over by Lewis Dunk.

De Zerbi is impressed by his Brighton captain.

"Lewis Dunk is, for me, one of the best centre-backs in the Premier League. I'd be happy if he went to the World Cup - as I would Danny Welbeck, but it's not my job to choose who goes," said the Italian.

He also had praise for Leandro Trossard, who has so far been De Zerbi's best player – and only goalscorer under the Italian.

"I believe in Leandro. He has played six fantastic games since I joined, but I think he can play even better. I have a lot of faith in him. He can score more and play 90 minutes more often."
