Mark Bridge will play his first Asian Champions League match with Tianjin Teda tonight.

Bridge is on loan to Tianjin from Sydney FC and will clash with Japanese club Kawasaki Frontale at the Todoroki Athletics Stadium in the Kanagawa province in Japan.

Bridge's coach Zuo Shusheng said his team should be underdogs and wonders why the Chinese media have talked them up so much.

"I have always said that the media overrate us and this kind of thing is not good for our performances," Shusheng said.

"Kawasaki are much better than us and this is an away game so we have a disadvantage."
