Fulham striker Marcello Trotta has joined Brentford on-loan.

Cottagers boss Martin Jol says the deal is a good one for the Italian.

"Trotta had different plans. He didn't want to go to the lower leagues before so we talked to him and I think understands that it is a nice opportunity for him to get games and to play because is a very young player."
