Brentford are believed to be showing significant interest in Martin Jol.
The Bees parted ways with Mark Warburton following the conclusion of their season which ended in a promotion play-off semi-final loss to Middlesbrough on Frida night.
Owner Matthew Benham has opted to relieve Warburton of his duties despite a fairly successful campaign and according to the The Sun, is now set to go after Dutchman Jol.
The 59-year old has not managed since he was sacked by Fulham in December 2013 but the former Tottenham, Hamburg and Ajax boss has emerged as a firm target for Brentford who are determined to gain promotion from the Championship next season.
