Brentford have announced open trials for interested players.

The Daily Mail says League One high-flyers Brentford - who held European champions Chelsea to a draw in the FA Cup earlier this year - start their open trials next month at a cost of £60.

Barnet of League Two, managed by Champions League winner Edgar Davids, are also giving hopefuls an opportunity to become a footballer with trials costing up to £70.

FA Cup giant killers Luton Town and fellow Blue Square Bet Premier club Cambridge United run similar schemes.
