Brentford boss Mark Warburton is in the frame for the QPR job.
The Mail on Sunday says Paul Clement and Warburton remain on QPR's short list to take over next season - even though the club hierarchy have been impressed by the performance of Chris Ramsey as stand-in manager.
QPR could be relegated on Sunday if they fail to win at Manchester City and club sources say that a final decision has not been taken on Ramsey's future.
Owner Tony Fernandes is expected to review all the options at the end of the season, with Real Madrid coach Clement, whose father Dave was a key part of QPR's greatest-ever team, thought to be the 'dream manager' about whom he tweeted back in February.
