Brentford boss Thomas Frank was delighted with his players after their 3-3 draw at Brentford.
In a see-sawing battle, Villa managed to prevent a Bees win after Ollie Watkins struck an equaliser on 80 minutes.
Frank said: "Incredible mentality from the players to come back. The first half was very even. On the ball we could have done more so I was a little bit angry at half-time. And then conceding 2-0...that was not good enough. But then after that the response was fantastic.
"Big praise to come back and lead 3-2. And then they [Villa] score from a deflected cross. If they didn't score then I'm sure we would have won. Overall I'm very pleased with the players' mentality.
"We know we are a threat, we know we can score goals against any team in any game. Definitely [feeling more confident going into the last six games]. I've got big belief in these players and this team. I think we are building something really consistent. I'm happy with the performances but I just want to get over the line and to get the win next time."
