Fox Sports Brasil journalist Gustavo Villani has sparked talk of Manchester United securing a deal for Bayern Munich defender Dante.
Dante's agent has insisted there's been no formal contact with United for the Brazil international.
But Villani tweeted last night: "Dante is the new Manchester United defender".
He then followed up with Dante's quotes about being flattered by United's interest.
"I'm still not Manchester United. I'm in Munich and I appreciate the interest of Manchester United. At month's end all will be defined," said the defender.
