Football legend Pele is set to be released from hospital after recovering from a kidney problem.
The Brazilian great was taken to hospital in Sao Paulo on November 24 with a urinary tract infection which prompted a procedure to remove his kidney stones.
Pele was in intensive care for a few days to stabilize his body after the operation but has continued to get better and is expected to be discharged on Tuesday.
"Patient Edson Arantes do Nascimento (Pele) continues clinical improvement and does not have any signs of infection," read the statement released by the Albert Einstein hospital.
"Considering his good recovery, his medical team has scheduled his leaving hospital tomorrow."
