Porto striker Hulk's performances with Brazil during their summer tour has only strengthened Chelsea's resolve to sign him. A Bola says the goal scoring displays of Hulk, with the striker hitting three goals in four games, has convinced Blues owner Roman Abramovich and his directors to pay what it takes to land the centre-forward.

Chelsea have so far indicated they're prepared to pay €37 million for Hulk, while Porto are insisting on at least €50 million.

Negotiations are now expected to step up with Hulk's international commitments over.
