Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari is happy seeing Douglas Maicon at AS Roma.

The veteran fullback moved to Roma from Manchester City in the summer.

"As for Maicon, he had a few injury problems at Manchester City to begin with and then he didn't have the chance to play regularly," Scolari said.

"His decision to move to Roma was excellent. He'll be able to demonstrate all of his qualities and he now stands a better chance of being selected."
