Martin Braithwaite was floating after a winning debut for Barcelona in their rout of Eibar.

It was a day to remember for Braithwaite as he helped set up two goals in Barcelona's 5-0 victory over Eibar after coming on as a substitute.

One of them was for Lionel Messi and he shared an embrace with the Argentine, which he joked about afterwards.

Speaking in the mixed zone, he said he wouldn't wash the shirt that he was wearing when he hugged the No.10.

Braithwaite also shared a message for his fans on social media.

"I'm really happy to have made my debut," he said.

"What a fantastic day!

"It's a day I will never forget.

"The way the whole stadium received me and all the messages I've been getting, it made me so happy.

"I can't wait for the future to work hard for you guys because I want to pay you back for the warm welcome and all the love you've been giving me."
