Barcelona chief Ariedo Braida admits they're keen on Inter Milan midfielder Mateo Kovacic.
Braida admits they're monitoring the youngster.
"The rules are very clear," the director explained, speaking to FCInterNews.
"Barcelona cannot make moves or hold official talks during the summer, but it absolutely does not forbid us from making verbal agreements for January. That is, of course, allowed.
"Kovacic? For the moment I can't speak about him, so far there's nothing concrete. Of course, there's no denying he's a player we like, and he has quality."
