Kris Boyd has urged Kilmarnock to offer him a new deal.
The 30-year old striker is out of contract this summer but is keen to remain at Rugby Park after netting 22 league goals to help keep the Ayrshire club remain in the Scottish Premiership.
"Obviously there's been a lot of speculation surrounding my future and where I'm going to go next. But I'll give Kilmarnock first crack at it," he said.
"The club has been great to me so I'm not going to rush away and sign for anybody behind their back."
