Terrence Boyd has added his name to a small group of Americans in European football.
The Rapid Vienna striker scored his 20th goal of the season in the weekend's 5-2 win at Ried to become just the fifth US player to reach the goal milestone in a European season.
Boyd slotted home from close range in the 71st minute as Rapid remained second on the Austrian Bundesliga table with a third victory in a row.
Boyd, who has 15 league goals and five in the Europa League this season, joins Jozy Altidore, Clint Dempsey, Aron Johannsson and Earnie Stewart as the only Americans to hit the 20-goal milestone in a single European top flight campaign.
