Bournemouth veteran Smith: I don't care about new manager - so long as I play!

Bournemouth veteran Adam Smith insists he isn't fussed about who is appointed as the club's next manager.

Gary O'Neill is currently the interim manager following the dismissal of Scott Parker, while Sean Dyche has been linked with the vacancy.

The 31-year-old told the Daily Echo: "As long as he plays me, I don't care!

"Obviously, I'd rather have a possession-based manager who would try and have the ball, you know. As a player, you want the ball.

"But yeah, I'm not really too fussed. It's the club's decision for what type of manager they want.

"We just do whatever we're told, basically, and whatever the club want, they'll get.

"Like I said, as long as I play, I don't really care."
