Dimitar Berbatov admits he would love to come back to the English Premier League.

The 34-year old Bulgarian striker was released by French club Monaco this week and is now on the lookout for a new team, quite possibly in England.

"It'd be a pleasure [to return to England]," Berbatov told reporters in Sofia.

"I spent a long time in England and I keep very good memories. Everyone is watching the English championship... the Premier League, and I'll be delighted to return.

"I feel good and I think I still have a lot to give to football."

The former Tottenham, Manchester United and Fulham attacker is being linked with a surprise move to Premier League new boys AFC Bournemouth.
