Bournemouth's Arter wants fans support for Rainbow Laces campaign

Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter has called for fans to support Stonewall's Rainbow Laces campaign this weekend.

The initiative runs from November 24 to December 3, and clubs across the Premier League are doing their part to fight against discrimination to the LGBT community.

He told Sky Sports News: "I think it's important that all fans come together. It's not nice to discriminate anyone of any race or any sexuality.

"I think it's an important thing to do and I feel happy that I'm part of it. I just feel it's important to include everyone no matter what sexuality they are.

"If they enjoy football and they want to be a part of it but for whatever reason they don't feel like they can (and) they don't feel comfortable in the environment, I think that's totally wrong."

"Everyone I know at this club will definitely support it," he added. "You know you want to see fans all across the world enjoying football, not feeling like they can't go to games and enjoy it.

"Get behind it and make sure everyone feels comfortable watching football.
