Bournemouth midfielder Fraser marks Ipswich bow with goal

Bournemouth loanee Ryan Fraser scored on debut for Ipswich Town in the Tractor Boys' 2-2 draw with Brentford in the opening round of the Championship this weekend.

Fraser's strike in the 50th minute gave Ipswich a 2-0 lead, but the visitors conceded a pair of stoppage time goals that saw them eventually share the spoils with the Bees.

While pleased to find the back of the net in his first game for his new club, Fraser told itfc.co.uk that he was disappointed by Ipswich's late capitulation.

"The dressing-room is a little low right now as you can imagine and all the lads are disappointed not to have won the game," Fraser said.

"We played really well for 92 minutes and could have even scored more, but in the end we've let the lead slip with a couple of soft goals at the end which is frustrating.

"But we can't get too down about it. We have to look at the positives and just view this as a learning curve.

"It's disappointing to not start the season with a win but if we play like that over the next 45 games, I'm sure we will be right up there."
