Bournemouth manager Scott Parker says there are 'millions of reasons' why the club have not added more quality to their squad this summer.
Parker was speaking after his side were beaten 9-0 by Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday.
When asked whether the club would be able to bring in any more quality before Thursday night's transfer deadline, Parker told the Daily Echo: "I don't know. We've been trying to do that.
"There are millions of reasons why and there's loads of circumstances why. This is not just as straightforward as not being able to sign players because players don't want to come or whatever.
"There's a lot of issues here for the reasons why we've not been able to do that and it just depends whether those issues resolve, or we make a decision.
"That's it, really."
