Bournemouth have tabled a fresh bid for Birmingham City winger Demarai Gray.

The Daily Mail says the Cherries saw their £1.5m offer for the 18-year-old rebuffed by their Championship rivals last week.

Blues boss Gary Rowett is desperate to keep hold of the youngster, but Bournemouth have tested their resolve with a second bid.

Gray was subject of a £500,000 offer rejected by Crystal Palace in the summer and has also been linked with Liverpool, Spurs and Newcastle United.
