Brad Smith is delighted to be getting his career back on track with MLS club Seattle Sounders.

The 24-year-old joined Seattle on loan from Bournemouth this summer. Injuries and poor form have kept Smith to just nine league appearances across four seasons with Liverpool and the Cherries.

"For me, I'm focusing on playing football because I haven't played enough football in my career," Smith told Sounder at Heart.

"I've been in some big clubs and I've played in some big games, especially at Liverpool, but I need to play games and to help the team do well in this season and next season as well.

"It's a good team, good coaching staff, so I'm glad to be a part of it and we'll see where it goes from here."
