Bournemouth fullback Charlie Daniels is back in training.

Daniels revealed yesterday he was back out training on grass following surgery on a dislocated patella.

The full-back endured a difficult 2019, suffering two serious knee injuries in the space of five months.

He commented on social media: “It's good to be back outside! Nine months post op."

The Daily Echo says Daniels is close to agreeing a short-term contract to keep him with Eddie Howe's squad until the end of the season.
