Bournemouth fullback Adam Smith says they'll be ready for tomorrow's Carabao Cup clash with Newcastle United.
Gary O'Neil's charges face a tough trek to Newcastle to face Cherries legend Eddie Howe's Magpies in the fourth round (kick-off 7.45pm).
Since re-joining Cherries permanently in 2013, Smith has reached the quarter-final stage three times, with victory on Tyneside enough to equal those previous runs.
Cherries have never progressed further than the final eight, with Smith hoping for a deep run in the competition.
He told afcb.co.uk: “We've reached the quarter-finals of the League Cup three times since I've been here so it would be great to have another good run.
“Newcastle away is going to be a very difficult game. We've had a couple of training games during the break and have been working hard. I know we'll be raring to go on Tuesday."
