The Sun says Stoke are demanding a staggering £23million for England goalkeeper Butland.

And that has put the chase for him on hold.

Bournemouth and Crystal Palace want to give Butland, 26, a Premier League move.

But the price is proving to be a huge problem.

He is hoping to leave this summer but the Potters will not buckle over their fee.

Butland's former club Birmingham have a 20 per cent sell-on clause.
