Bournemouth chairman Eddie Mitchell is confident Eddie Howe will stay with the Cherries after the manager was linked with Swansea. The 32 year old has impressed during his first managerial post with Bournemouth and led the club to promotion from League Two last season.
Mitchell is determined to keep Howe at Dean Court and is optimistic Howe is not looking to leave.
"I've got him handcuffed to the stadium," said Mitchell.
"He isn't going anywhere at the moment and he is cutting his teeth with us.
"I can assure you at this moment in time, he is very happy. I wouldn't stand in his way, but I think he is very sensible.
"He's got unfinished business at Bournemouth. I don't think he's in any rush to go."
