Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe admits that he will wait until the summer before deciding on Jermain Defoe.

The Cherries attacker has an 18 month loan contract at Rangers. However, Bournemouth may want to recall him for next season. He has scored 6 in 15 since arriving at Ibrox.

Howe told the Daily Echo: "To be honest, we're so engrossed in what we're doing here that we haven't had a chance to sit down and discuss anything on that side.

"I'm sure that'll be one for the summer, but I'm really pleased to see Jermain doing so well."

For his part, Defoe has stated that he would like to remain at Rangers next season.
