Borussia Monchengladbach have completed the signing of Arsenal defender Havard Nordtveit.
Nordtveit has signed a three-year contract with Gladbach and moves to Germany for a mooted cut-price £800,000.
"It's my goal to play as much as possible.
"I will do my utmost to break into the starting XI and will give everything to help the club forward. Moenchengladbach have had some defensive problems, but I'm hopeful that we'll return to winning ways after the winter break," said the defender on the club's official website.
