Borussia Dortmund are chasing Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom.
The Daily Star says Akpom's Arsenal contract is up at the end of the season but Dortmund want to sign him this month.
Akpom, 19, is also wanted by Everton, Manchester City and Arsenal's north London rivals Tottenham.
But Dortmund have emerged as front runners and are close to agreeing personal terms with the England Under-20 striker.
Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of Akpom after being alerted by his goal-scoring exploits for Arsenal and England's youth teams.
Klopp been heavily involved in the talks and believes Akpom can make an impact in the Bundesliga this season while the youngster is understood to have concerns about his long-term first-team prospects at Arsenal.
