Manchester United may be forced to go higher than £7 million for Borussia Dortmund star Shinji Kagawa.

Dortmund are determined to get top price for the Japan international, despite his desire to move to United.

Kagawa, who scored 13 goals in the Bundesliga this season, has also caught the eye of Arsene Wenger and Arsenal's interest means Dortmund are trying to force United into driving up the price.

The 23-year-old has spoken of his 'dream' to play at Old Trafford but United are reluctant to go too high on the price for a player who would cost nothing in a year's time.
