The agent of Marco Borriello insists he didn't turn down Juventus in 2010.

The AS Roma striker is set to join Juve on-loan this week.

Juve made a move to net Borriello from Milan ahead of the 2010-11 campaign, but he opted to join Roma instead.

"I want to make it clear that there wasn't a refusal," representative Tiberio Cavalleri said. "Milan wanted an almost definitive sale and that's what led to the Roma transfer."
