The agent of AS Roma striker Marco Borriello has hit back at claims from former coach Claudio Ranieri.
Ranieri broke his silence to blame David Pizarro and Borriello for the problems behind the scenes.
"Borriello wanted to play all the time, but it's not as if he was a constant first team player at Milan either."
The striker's agent hit back in an interview with Sky Sport Italia.
"I was disappointed to hear Ranieri's comments, as during the time he was the Roma Coach, Borriello was always at the disposal of the squad," insisted Tiberio Cavalleri.
"He even played when he was not 100 per cent fit. It is only normal that when he wasn't considered for the starting XI, he was a little upset, but there was nothing over the top in his reaction.
"I would also like to rule out allegations he had problems with Francesco Totti and Daniele De Rossi. There can be some misunderstandings on the field, but nothing more. In fact, the lads hang out off the pitch as well."
