Fabio Borini insists he does not rue his move to Liverpool this summer.
The 21-year old Italian striker has netted just one goal in 10 Reds appearances since his shift from AS Roma but he has made it clear that he is happy at Anfield and is keen to improve his game in England.
"I have got no regrets about choosing Liverpool," said Borini.
"Going abroad for a young person is an opportunity to grow and then there is the possibility to work better."
Borini, who also finds himself with the Italy U21s after being dropped by Cesare Prandelli, says he is determined to get back into the Azzurri first team.
"The return to the Under 21s? I don't consider it a downgrading," he added.
"For me it is always a privilege to wear the Azzurri shirt, both for the senior and the Under 21 team. "I am glad to be here and I have as an additional incentive the aim of returning to the senior side. This should be the goal for all of us."
