The agent of Liverpool striker Fabio Borini has played down talk of a return to Italy.
Borini has struggled to justify his £10.5m fee after joining from Roma last summer, but his agent has rubbished reports that he could join Napoli.
"The Azzurri have not called me so that is why at this time a move is not an option," Borini's agent Raffaele Auriemma told Italian radio station Radio CRC.
"The player left at the age of 16 because at the time Bologna did not think he was important. A chance arose and we took advantage of it.
"Parma did well last season to sign him on a free transfer and then sell half his rights to Roma. Then a situation arose and we were in agreement that he should go to Liverpool."
