Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh could be on the way to Manchester City, admits teammate Fernando Cavenaghi.

"Every player can receive important offers, as was recently the case for Marouane Chamakh," said the Argentine.

"He has said he would think about it if it came from a good club such as Manchester City, for example. As a consequence he could leave."
