Bordeaux are struggling to finance a move for Arsenal striker Maroune Chamakh.

The 28-year-old Morocco international would be an ideal replacement for Bordeaux striker Yoan Gouffran, who is attracting interest from several clubs including QPR, says the Daily Mail.

However, Bordeaux cannot afford Chamakh's £65,000-a-week wages, and Arsenal would have to pay up part of his contract for them to afford any transfer fee.
