Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh has rejected a move to West Ham United.
"It is not until August 31 that it will be truly fixed," he told L'Equipe after Sunday night's 4-0 romp over Nice.
"I stick to what I said - the balance is more in favour of Bordeaux. I refused West Ham. Frankly, there's no comparison.
"With games like that (Nice), victories and a squad as supportive, there is every reason to be happy.
"The support of the other players gives me great pleasure. Everyone insists that I stay. For now, I tell you, it's gone."
